Senior Marketing Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to join the award-winning team at Raccoon Media Group, working on our newly formed but fast-growing Animal Health Division. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a proven track record of launching and running successful B2B and B2C events in the UK. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, creativity and a hands-on approach to delivering results. You’ll be responsible for managing a small, talented team and overseeing budgets, while driving marketing strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset. Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of the events are essential. While experience in the animal health sector is desirable, it is not essential — what matters most is your demonstrable success in delivering impactful event marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver the marketing strategy for the Animal Health Division, aligning with business goals and event growth targets
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, PR and partnerships for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Line management responsibilities
- Manage marketing budgets effectively
- Drive audience acquisition and exhibitor engagement, ensuring strong attendance and commercial outcomes for events
- Collaborate closely with sales, content and operations teams to ensure integrated campaign planning and execution
- Measure and report on campaign performance, using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Adapt strategies and tactics as needed, maintaining flexibility in response to changing event needs or market conditions
Experience & skills:
- Proven experience in launching and managing successful B2B and B2C events in the UK in a senior marketing role
- Strategic marketing experience, with the ability to develop and implement effective, commercially driven marketing plans
- Strong team management skills, with experience leading, mentoring and developing small teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think creatively, act decisively and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
- Be willing to be hands on – all team members work on each event so it’s important to note that this will be a role where strategy and delivery will be required
- Excellent budget management experience, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximising campaign ROI
- Deep understanding of audience development, lead generation and customer engagement across multiple channels
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, confident using data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Experience in the animal health, veterinary, or life sciences sector is preferred but not essential
- Highly organised with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
