Welcome
Chris Skeith OBE
At the AEO, we understand what our members want and deliver initiatives that add value. By continuing to work with and represent our members, understanding their shared needs, addressing challenges and developing opportunities we hope to see membership broaden so other event businesses can learn and grow from being part of the AEO community. Our four pillars of Representation, Community, Talent and Insight are what drives us to deliver results that positively impact all levels within our members' organisations.
We represent the industry to the highest level of government and highlight the economic benefits of business events as trading platforms to both ministers and officials collaboratively with other associations.
We will continue to improve on our educational aims both in terms of staging excellent content driven events and encouraging young and exciting talent into our industry. Finally, AEO will continue to provide hours of insight and networking opportunities that perfectly balance hard work with fun, let your hair down moments that the industry enjoys so much.
Our Mission Statement
AEO is the voice of the event organising community. It serves the collective needs and promotes the interests of event organisers and the industry at large.
What's important to us?
Our members are important to us. Making sure that we support them and help create opportunities for them to grow and prosper. With this in mind, we focus our attention and resources on areas that our members have highlighted as vital to help them deliver results in their day to day roles and capitalise on opportunities for developing their businesses.

Compliance & Complaints
Complaints procedure
Occasionally, the AEO receives complaints from exhibitors. Even more occasionally the complaint may be related to an AEO member show.
We have introduced a complaints procedure to ensure that any complaint we may receive is handled professionally and quickly by the AEO and its members.
Please click through the link and have a look at our complaints procedure and feel free to adopt it internally if you don't already have one at your organisation.
