Messe Frankfurt UK is looking for a motivated and results-focused Sales Executive to sell two award-winning B2B exhibitions – Automechanika Birmingham and the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event.

We’ve recently moved into modern offices on London’s South Bank, and our expansion plans are well underway. This role offers the opportunity to work for a global leader while enjoying the collaborative and agile environment of an SME.

What We’re Looking For

You could be an experienced exhibition sales professional or someone with proven sales ability in another sector – what matters most is your enthusiasm, determination, and communication skills.

  • Confident in phone-based selling and hitting sales targets
  • Skilled at building relationships and identifying client needs
  • Clear and persuasive communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail (CRM experience is a plus)
  • Eager to learn about the automotive industry and its market dynamics

What You Can Expect

  • Sell two established industry-leading trade shows with a strong market presence
  • Manage a portfolio of warm leads while also securing new business
  • Earn commission on all revenue generated across multiple products and inventory
  • Attend competitor events in the UK and internationally to build market knowledge and contacts
  • Be part of a close-knit team with clear career development opportunities as we launch three new trade shows in the next 12 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue through existing contacts and proactive new business development
  • Maintain accurate records and manage leads in the CRM system
  • Research and identify new prospects through industry publications, online sources, and events
  • Represent the business at events in the UK and abroad
  • Ensure clients receive a professional and seamless experience
