Mind Body Spirit Festival is a leading event organiser specialising in wellbeing and spirituality. With a rich history dating back to 1977, where we host our flagship consumer exhibition at Olympia London and, since 2015, at the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham.
Our events bring together a vibrant community of exhibitors, speakers, and attendees who share a passion for personal growth, health, and spiritual exploration. In addition to our flagship events, we also organise concerts and conferences, making us a dynamic and evolving company within the wellbeing industry.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our small, fun, and experienced team to help us grow and achieve the potential of our two consumer exhibitions. With over 75 years of collective events experience, our team is looking for another experienced high-achieving sales professional who is eager to develop their career and grow with us. The role is primarily remote, but it will require face-to-face sales skills at our events and other exhibitions, strong telesales abilities, and a genuine interest in wellbeing and spirituality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing exhibitors, ensuring their needs are met and they have a successful event experience. Helping them to grow their businesses and support their needs
- Drive sales for our two market leading consumer exhibitions hosted at the Olympia London and the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham
- Conduct telesales activities to reach potential exhibitors and secure their participation in our events.
- Attend onsite events at Olympia London and the National Exhibition Centre Birmingham to meet clients, finalise deals, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional activities.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, exhibitor contracts, and communications using CRM software.
- Assist with post-event follow-up and evaluation to ensure client satisfaction and retention for future events.
Requirements:
- Customer focused approach with a true passion for helping our exhibitors achieve their goals.
- Proven experience in event sales, preferably in the exhibition, events, or related industries.
- Excellent face-to-face and telesales skills, with a strong ability to close deals and cold call.
- A passion for and interest in wellbeing, personal development, and spirituality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to exhibition locations (London and Birmingham) as required.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
