The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Executive to join the Phacilitate team in London. The successful candidate will take the lead on creating and executing marketing campaigns for our portfolio of events. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for producing and implementing year-round marketing strategy, promoting our conferences and events to delegates and sponsors.
Phacilitate creates events and content that bring together the brightest minds in cell, gene and RNA-based therapies, from pioneering biotech’s to global pharma, investors, regulators, and clinicians. Phacilitate events operate at the heart of a fast-moving industry, working to cure rare and chronic diseases, improve patient access, and bring cutting-edge therapies from lab to bedside.
Flagship events include Advanced Therapies Week USA, Advanced Therapies Europe (Spain) and launching in 2026, Advanced Therapies World (Saudia Arabia)
The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, be highly proactive and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns with support of conference producers in line with the event or project objectives.
- Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms and materials including websites, social media, emails, and brochures.
- Managing the planning and execution of all email campaigns and creating customer journeys for events from start to finish.
- Working with the research team to segment data, identify gaps, develop new data sources, and implement a data build plan.
- Managing and maintaining event websites with regular updates.
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation of digital campaigns/channels and marketing emails, making recommendations to improve performance and drive ROI.
- Producing comprehensive post campaign reports, with recommendations for future improvements.
- Assisting with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolio.
- Working with key media and association partners to secure valuable external promotions for the conferences.
- Maintaining social media pages.
- Proactively participating in 1:1s, team meetings and project meetings, putting forward observations and new ideas to drive the success of both marketing and wider team activities.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Marketing experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of the core event marketing disciplines.
- Highly proactive and happy to take on a challenge.
- Multi-tasking with the ability to prioritise relevant tasks.
- A genuine team player that is collaborative in nature.
- Analytical and able to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- Strong copywriting and proofing skills.
- Creative eye and strong attention to detail.
- Experience using Pardot, Salesforce or a similar CRM system is desirable.
- Familiarity with ASP (Active Server Pages), or an alternative CMS platform, is desirable.
- Knowledge of best practice across email, social media, paid media, and websites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
