We are looking for a dedicated Finance Manager who is a passionate and commercially driven individual to become a key member of a growing team. You will be coming on board to a small but established company who organise trade exhibitions across the country.

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for the financial management, business planning and budgetary processes of the exhibitions
  • Improve business efficiency and commercial decision making by enhancing management information and financial forecasting
  • Work with the MD to implement and execute business strategy
  • General accounting duties (VAT, Payroll, Banking etc)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts
  • Production of month end reporting including management accounts (exhibitions, direct overheads, indirect overheads), cashflow, balance sheets
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process across the exhibitions
  • Develop, implement and manage on-going measures to enhance financial and management information including appropriate KPIs and metrics
  • Review commission/bonus payments to ensure compliance with individual schemes
  • Responsibility for VAT returns and Payroll
  • Responsibility for other general accounts issues such as payment authorisation and bank administration
  • Carry out any reasonable project work / ad hoc task as requested

Key Knowledge & Skills

  • Recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Experience of completing statutory and annual accounts
  • Experience of Accounting Software and Payroll Systems
  • Advanced Excel skills

Hours: 3 Days a week – 22.5 Hours
