We create, deliver and own market-leading events across multiple sectors in the UK and internationally. Our portfolio includes both consumer and trade events, delivered across Europe, Asia and Australia.
The Role
FSM are seeking a motivated, ambitious and highly organised starter Event Executive to support the Event Director in the planning and delivery of international B2B trade exhibitions, conferences and awards.
This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their events career who is looking to fast-track their development within a commercial, trade-focused exhibitions business operating in international markets.
The role will initially work on established national and international trade events. This growing portfolio takes place across Europe and South East Asia, bringing together senior industry decision-makers, global suppliers, sponsors and partners. These events have strong reputations and ambitious growth plans and require the right person to help support their ongoing development and delivery.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in B2B events and an understanding that trade exhibitions are commercially driven environments, where attention to detail, stakeholder management and clear communication are critical to success.
You will support all aspects of event delivery, including exhibitor and sponsor liaison, conference and content coordination, awards management, venue and supplier communication, and on-site operational execution. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure events are delivered professionally, efficiently and to a high standard.
You must be proactive, adaptable and comfortable working under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. You will understand that successful trade events are delivered through close collaboration between operations, sales and marketing, and you will be eager to develop skills across all areas of the business.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, particularly when dealing with international B2B clients, exhibitors, speakers and industry partners.
