The Opportunity
With strong growth plans across the digital and live sides of the iGB Affiliate facing part of the business, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team to help shape and drive this commercial growth. You will be joining an established, growing and key supplier in a very lucrative, ever evolving, highly sociable and exciting industry to be part of. Furthermore, you will be joining a business owned by Blackstone, one of the world’s leading global investment businesses.
We are proud of our portfolio of market leading events and a suite of digital marketing services that sit under three core brands: ICE (International Casino Exhibition), iGB (iGaming Business) and iGBA (iGB Affiliate). IGBA London attracts over 7,000 attendees annually and is the largest trade show within the affiliate sector of iGaming. This is supported by IGBAffiliate.com and a suite of marketing services across our digital channels, but we are not resting on our laurels, whether this is developing our current product set or launching new brands, we are constantly striving to be better to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Sales: Working with our marketing and content teams to implement MQL and SQL strategies to build new relationships, acquire new business, broaden our customer base, and hit target.
- Growing existing customer spend: Developing a deeper relationship and understanding of objectives, messaging, and success measures of existing customers in order to increase YOY retention and average customer spend value.
- Forecasting and Pacing: Accurate reporting, forecasting, and pacing to help ensure the business meets its financial targets.
- New Product Development: Actively involved in contributing to product development using emerging market, customer, and audience trends to drive innovation in our digital sales approach.
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Proven experience in digital media sales (essential).
- Strong networking ability, especially face to face.
- Forecasting: Proven experience in providing accurate sales forecasts.
- Market Insight: Strong understanding of affiliate market trends and dynamics to inform strategic decision making.
- Strategic Thinker: Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and sell digital marketing campaigns, incorporating live event stands /sponsorship as part of them.
- High Level Customer Conversation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage in high level customer conversations.
- Adaptable: Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic digital sales environment.
- Forward Thinking: Proactive and forward-thinking approach to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent organisational skills.
