The Opportunity:  

Clarion’s Gaming Division is the world’s biggest information provider for the global gaming (gambling) sector. We are more than just a service provider in the industry; we are a partner and are passionate about doing whatever it takes to connect, support, promote and defend the interests of businesses throughout the international gaming neighbourhood - 365 days a year.

We are proud of our portfolio of market leading events and digital products which includes the ICE Gaming Exhibition which attracts over 35,000 attendees annually and our igaming business website which receives over 2.1 million page views a year…. But we are not resting on our laurels, whether this is developing our current product set or launching new brands, we are constantly striving to be better to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our existing sub-team, reporting into the Sales Manager. The ideal candidate would be a highly social individual that prides themselves on professionalism, is commercially minded, a strong networker and someone who places the customer at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Servicing an existing client base of longstanding customers.

  • Upsizing and growing spend from these customers at our events.

  • New business focus with the use of marketing campaigns and incoming leads.

  • Understanding customer objectives and measures of success at our events.

  • Customer account management and relationship building over Teams, Zoom, email, phone, and Skype.

  • Managing the daily pipeline on Salesforce.

  • Participation in internal meetings and calls with the wider sales team and other departments within the division

  • During certain times of the year, international travel is required across Europe and the USA.

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • An interest in a role in media sales across a double digit growth portfolio.

  • Experience of live events or digital media sales experience is advantageous.

  • Experience using a CRM system, such as Salesforce, is desirable.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work calmly when under pressure.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Creative and positive approach to problem solving.
