Favourite thing about AEO: The people, and specially creating experiences for the industry, bringing people together to learn, network, share best or worst practice and celebrate all that is incredible about events!

Unique interest or hobby: Slightly obsessed with the Grand National, and love any ‘jump’ racing, or actually anything involving horses and jumps.

Binge series or movie: Slow Horses (nothing to do with actual horses), is the only reason I have apple tv! I did also binge watch all three series of White Lotus.

Best thing about working at AEO: The people; it’s a really lovely, caring, bright and hard working team. Lots to do, but I do feel fortunate and the flexibility really helps too

Favourite thing about AEO: The fact that it doesn’t feel like work (most days anyway). I love seeing our ideas come to life and resolving member needs through our various outputs, events and training.

Unique interest or hobby: I’ve somehow become a runner over the years, training for my third marathon. You cannot beat the feeling of crossing the finish line!

Binge series or movie: I live for trash TV – Love Island, Married at First Sight, Love is Blind, and can’t forget TSITP (team Conrad!)

Unique interest or hobby: Seeing the world and experiencing different cultures. I’m at my most happiest when visiting a new city or country for the first time.

Binge series or movie: Any true crime documentary. Unfortunately, I then scare myself before going to bed!

As part of our commitment to you and each other, every team member has successfully completed their Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training. This training covers a number of areas including how to recognise signs of mental health challenges, offer initial support, and how to refer individuals to appropriate resources and professional help.
