Welcome from the chair
Andrew Williams - EVP Industrial Group, Informa Markets
I am extremely honoured to serve as AEO Chairman and look forward to working closely with the AEO team and Board.
AEO is, and has always been, the leading association for event organisers. It is successful, dynamic and proactive, and my focus as Chair is to build on those strengths and ensure the organisation continues to develop.
A key priority is establishing a clear three-year vision that ensures AEO’s long-term impact and relevance in an ever-changing world. This includes:
- Supporting the development of the events industry, driving progress, collaboration and excellence among members and stakeholders.
- Future-proofing AEO by recognising the changing nature of the events landscape, preparing for emerging challenges, embracing technological advancements and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Delivering exceptional value to members through dedicated resources, advocacy, inclusivity and initiatives that address the events industry’s most pressing needs.
I look forward to working with and meeting members across the AEO community, and ensuring the association continues to go from strength to strength.
