March 2013 takes on an international tone for i2i Events Group, with the staging of two high profile global events in Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

The 3rd World Retail Congress Asia Pacific, widely recognised as the premier event for global retailers trading in Asia Pacific countries and the only pan-retail event for senior executives in the region, will take place from 19 – 21 March 2013 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Taking place in a premier shopping destination, in one of the world's great retail hubs, World Retail Congress Asia Pacific will bring together over 500 of the most senior retail executives from across Asia Pacific, as well as leading international brands and multinational retailers. The variety of informative and innovative learning opportunities will be centred on the four core themes of Digital, Consumer, Market and Retail and over 85 retail experts will share their insights on industry trends and opportunities. Key speakers include Scott Price, Chief Executive Officer, Walmart; Philip Clark, Chief Executive Officer, Tesco; Michael Hobson, Chief Marketing Officer, Mandarin Oriental; Andrew Wu, Group President Greater China, LVMH and Mimi Tang, Chief Executive Officer, Gucci, to name but a few.

The first Patient Safety & Quality Congress Middle East, takes place at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi from 24 – 27 March 2013. The congress is a unique gathering of leading health experts from the region and a key opportunity to discuss and debate regional solutions and provide insights into international best practice. 60 speakers have already been confirmed, with keynote speakers in attendance from the Ministry of Health in Bahrain, Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Dubai Health Authority, Supreme Council of Health (Qatar) and the Cleveland Clinic (USA), to name but a few.

Giles Cummings, Divisional Director Large Scale Events, i2i Events Group comments, “This month we are staging two important overseas events, further strengthening our profile on the international stage and demonstrating our commitment to extending our global footprint. With the World Retail Congress now firmly established in the Asia Pacific region, the opportunity to bring the event to Singapore has enabled us to build on the success of the previous events, fine tune our offering and bring a fresh perspective to the content – resulting in 72% revenue growth for the event this year. We are also delighted to bring years of experience and knowledge from Europe's premier patient safety event, Patient Safety Congress, to the Middle East. This geo-cloning of an established event is an important part of our international development plans going forward and one which we aim to replicate across multiple markets and sectors.â€'
