i2i Events Group announces Copenhagen as the host city for Money20/20 Europe

i2i Events Group is pleased to announce that Copenhagen has been chosen as the host city for the European edition of Money20/20.  The launch event will take place at the Bella Center from 5 – 7 April 2016 and is expected to welcome some 3,000 delegates to the Danish capital.

Money20/20 is the world's largest and most relevant conference and exhibition for innovators in the payments and financial services sector.  It is not only a market leader but also a fast growing event.  The 4th edition, taking place in Las Vegas in October 2015, expects to welcome more than 10,000 decision makers, entrepreneurs and leading industry figures, among them 1,000 CEOs, all representing some 3,000 organisations and 75 countries.

The intention to launch a European edition of Money20/20 was announced in October 2014 with a view to providing a new platform to focus on the opportunities and challenges specific to Europe.  Since then the organisers have worked closely with Wonderful Copenhagen, the Bella Center and network organisation, Copenhagen Fintech Innovation and Research (CFIR) to secure this location for the European launch.

Money20/20 Europe has already garnered strong support from some of the leading regional and global companies across the payments and financial services sector.  Launch sponsors include:
