Early Christmas for new Exhibition Centre Liverpool

Early Christmas for new Exhibition Centre Liverpool

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is set to unwrap one of its first consumer exhibitions just in time for Christmas.

The Ultimate Christmas Fair is expected to attract about 25,000 visitors when it debuts 26-29 November.

Organiser LXFX Creative Productions expects visitors will keep tills jingling to the tune of £3m in sales.

Managing director Steve Burrell said Liverpool's status as one of the UK's fastest growing regional economies made it an ideal location.

“The city is also a real ‘hub' for the north west, so we're confident that it will bring in visitors from some of the most affluent areas in the region,â€' Burrell said.

He said exhibitors would have the opportunity to promote their products through a creative studio, where they could inspire shoppers with gift ideas, cooking demonstrations and wrapping masterclasses.

Event director Sharon Burrell said the show would combine well-known fashion, food, luxury goods and fine art brands, as well as smaller niche brands with one-off gift ideas.

“The event will give shoppers the chance to peruse the crème de la crème of the festive market, offering them unusual and original gift ideas for the whole family and they can get it all in one place,â€' Burrell said.

“Stands are booking up fast, so we're keen to hear from any brands looking to find out more,â€' she added.

Amy King, senior exhibition sales manager at ACC Liverpool, was pleased to welcome the show to the centre's new 15,000sq m space, which opens in September.

“This will be one of the first consumer exhibitions and it highlights the diversity of events at Exhibition Centre Liverpool,â€' King said.
