DMG EVENTS MIDDLE EAST & ASIA SUPPORTS EVENTICE
London/Dubai 11 December 2014: dmg events, dmg events is set to provide a 2015 Eventice graduate winner with an outstanding opportunity to be part of one of the fastest growing events businesses in the thriving Middle East and Asia region. The company is working with esp recruitment this year to stage the innovative scheme that allows final year event management students to compete to win jobs in the industry. The competition finals will take place at International Confex, 18 to 19 February 2015 at Olympia London.

Part of this drive is recruitment of young and energetic graduates with a desire to succeed in the events business and the passion to achieve results. The world is evolving quickly and skill sets that match new innovative technology are vital to the growth of the company.â€'

The competition is designed to identify individuals with the personality and skill set needed to meet the demands and challenges of a career in the events industry.  The students apply to take part by uploading a short video onto a website about themselves and why they feel they deserve to win. The applicants are narrowed down to a final 12-15 and invited down to London to take part in a series of tasks over 3 days, which showcase their ability to multi task, organise, lead, project manage, negotiate, network and present. Their skills are assessed by a group of industry professionals and in the grand finale, the final 5 students make a presentation by a high profile panel of industry experts. The winners are announced and offered a job on the spot.
Simon explains: “At dmg events the graduate will be exposed to all aspects of event management, giving them a valuable insight into the value that B2B exhibitions and events play in shaping economies and business transactions.â€'

Once selected, dmg events will appoint the lucky winning graduate to the role of Special Events Executive.  Working on some of the Middle East's largest business-to-business events attracting over 50,000 high profile attendees from around the world including ADIPEC, The Oil Barons Charity Ball and The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia, the selected candidate will gain invaluable experience across multiple disciplines including event management, operations and marketing. 

Eventice has placed 17 students over the past 4 years, as a direct result of them taking part in the competition.
