PEERCONNECT MENTORING PLATFORM LAUNCHES AT AEO FORUMS

The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has launched AEO PeerConnect, a new mentoring platform for members, at the AEO Forums, delivered in partnership with Leadership Connect Solutions.

The platform officially opened to mentees on the 26th of January following an initial sign-up phase that encouraged experienced members across the industry to register as mentors ahead of launch.

Designed to support professional development, knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning, AEO PeerConnect connects members through structured mentoring relationships, providing practical support for those navigating leadership, people management and career progression within the events industry.

This new platform forms part of a wider strategic partnership between AEO and Leadership Connect Solutions, under which the consultancy has been appointed as AEO’s HR partner. The partnership also focuses on leadership development, talent management and organisational performance, with practical, accessible support for event organisers.

Anna Golden, chief executive officer at AEO, said:

As part of the partnership, Leadership Connect Solutions is providing onboarding support for members using the platform, alongside mentoring training workshops to help ensure effective and rewarding mentoring relationships.
