AEO RENEWS 18-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH MESSE FRANKFURT FOR FURTHER TWO-YEAR TERM
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has renewed its strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH for a further two-year term, running until March 2028.
Now in its 18th year, the partnership is one of AEO’s longest-standing collaborations. Established nearly two decades ago, it continues to provide AEO members with international access and commercial opportunity.
Under the renewed agreement, Messe Frankfurt remains AEO’s exclusive European international venue partner, with activity spanning 2026 and 2027.
During the new term, Messe Frankfurt will engage with members across AEO’s flagship events and initiatives, including:
· AEO Excellence Awards 2026 and 2027
· AEO Conference 2026 and 2027
· AEO Forums in 2027 and 2028
· AEO International Dinner - Germany 2027
· AEO fam trips to IMEX Frankfurt in 2026 and 2027
The agreement also includes senior networking opportunities, hosted experiences in Frankfurt, and joint content and PR activity.
Anna Golden, chief executive, AEO, said: “We’ve worked with Messe Frankfurt for more than 18 years now and that says a lot. In this industry, partnerships only last if they genuinely deliver.
It works because there’s mutual trust and a clear understanding of what organisers need. Our members value the access and insight they get, and we know we can rely on the team in Frankfurt to support them properly.”
Eva-Christine Klinger, director, sales and marketing guest events, Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH, added: “The UK organiser community is hugely important to us. Over the years we’ve built strong relationships through AEO and we’re pleased to continue that into the next two-year term. Frankfurt is not only an international marketplace and a business driver for events, but also World Design Capital 2026! We therefore look forward to welcoming more AEO members and supporting their growth plans.”
As more organisers look internationally for growth, the renewed agreement ensures continuity and a partnership built on long-term understanding.
