AEO PARTNERS WITH DSV TO STRENGTHEN EVENT LOGISTICS SUPPORT
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has announced a new strategic partnership with DSV, appointing DSV as its exclusive logistics partner for 2026.
The partnership has been developed to deliver clear, practical value for AEO members, providing access to specialist logistics expertise, shared learning opportunities and enhanced on-site support across AEO’s flagship events.
As the events industry continues to face increasing complexity across supply chains, sustainability expectations and international operations, the partnership will focus on helping organisers make better-informed decisions around the movement of goods, materials and infrastructure for live events.
Throughout 2026, DSV will work closely with AEO members through a programme of content, visibility and engagement, including panel discussions, networking, live demonstrations and practical drop-in advice sessions at key AEO events.
Members will benefit from:
- Access to DSV logistics experts on site at key AEO events, giving members the opportunity to connect, ask questions and share experiences in an informal setting
- Practical insight drawn from live event scenarios, with DSV sharing real examples of how organisers can plan, move and manage event infrastructure more effectively
- Opportunities for one-to-one conversations with DSV specialists during networking moments, enabling organisers to discuss challenges specific to their own events
- Clearer guidance on best practice across event logistics, sustainability considerations and operational planning, supporting more informed decision-making
Anna Golden, chief executive of the Association of Event Organisers, said:
“Logistics plays a vital role in successful event delivery, yet it’s often something organisers are expected to solve quietly behind the scenes. This partnership with DSV is about giving our members access to expertise that can support better planning, reduce risk and strengthen operational decision-making.
By embedding DSV across our events and content, we’re creating space for practical, honest conversations about what works, what doesn’t, and how logistics can be approached more strategically.”
Garcia Newell, regional business development director at DSV, added:
"We are delighted to partner with AEO and support its members at a time when event organisers face growing pressure to deliver efficient, sustainable, and resilient events. With the integration of DB Schenker into the DSV, we now bring even greater global logistics capabilities to the table. This partnership enables us to share our expertise, learn directly from organisers, and work together to raise standards across the industry.”
DSV will be actively involved across AEO’s 2026 programme, including the AEO Forums, AEO Excellence Awards, AEO Conference and the AEO Partners’ Summit, alongside year-round content and communications collaboration.
The partnership also comes at a time of continued investment by DSV following its acquisition of DB Schenker, further strengthening its global logistics capability and long-term commitment to supporting complex, international events.
This partnership reflects AEO’s continued commitment to curating partnerships that go beyond visibility, delivering meaningful support, shared learning and real value for its membership.
