AEO APPOINTS TEMBO AS MARKETING TRAINING PARTNER
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has appointed TEMBO as its marketing training partner, strengthening the skills support available to marketing teams across its membership.
TEMBO is a specialist partner for the event industry, providing marketing & content training, along with consultancy, content and marketing support services. This will give AEO members access to practical, event-specific training for marketers at different stages of their careers.
In early 2027, TEMBO will deliver a series of training sessions for AEO members, shaped by the AEO Development Board and AEO’s marketing group.
The programme will include foundation courses for those newer to event marketing, on topics such as copywriting and an introduction to event marketing, alongside practitioner-level sessions for marketing managers covering areas including event marketing strategy and practical AI for event marketing.
TEMBO will also share its expertise through blogs, white papers and insight content throughout the year, promoted across the AEO website, newsletter and social channels.
Anna Golden, chief executive officer at AEO, said:
“Marketing teams are behind every full exhibition hall and every sold-out conference, and the way they reach audiences is changing fast. New channels, new tools and AI are all reshaping the job.
We want to give our members training that’s built for events and that their teams can use straight away. TEMBO knows this industry well, and we’re looking forward to bringing their expertise to our members, from people starting in event marketing to the managers leading teams.”
Kate Disley, founder and CEO of TEMBO, said:
“Investing in the people who market our events is an investment in the future of our industry. We need to nurture new talent and give experienced marketers the support and space to keep developing, so they can build rewarding careers and help our events thrive.
We’re proud to be working with AEO to make that development more accessible to its members. For us, this partnership is about sharing what we’ve learnt, building confidence and helping develop the next generation of event marketing leaders.”
