A statement from the group chairs
Taking over as Chair and Vice Chair of the newly branded AEO Technology Group has given us a chance to reflect on what the groups purpose is for the year ahead. It will come as no surprise that “digital” and “virtual” has become an integral part of many organisers business strategies, but the industry is still very much in a discovery phase when looking at the best platforms, skills and knowledge needed to make this a success.
We would like to become a central source of conversation and networking for a AEO members who are looking to learn more about this subject, delivering engaging sessions and case studies to support them.
We plan on running a CTO roundtable discussion and will continue with our Virtual Test and Learn Panels aswell as hearing more from the supplier community on platforms and solutions they can offer us.
This is an exciting time to be part of an industry evolution and one that will make the return to live stronger as we become omnichannel businesses, but we have a due diligence to support one another to ensure that we can make a success of it.
