The LEP Group was formed with the purpose of supporting AEO members’ customers (the exhibitor) - looking to identify their wants and needs with the aim of: getting them to use exhibitions more often., educating them on the ROI that exhibitions and conferences offer, and ensuring that exhibitions remain a key part of their marketing mix.
A statement from the group chairs
How do we create content to maintain customer engagement and build their confidence to return to events? This has been at the forefront of conversations that we have had in this year’s LEP group, and will continue to be what we discuss in 2021. As new Chair and Vice Chair, we will be referring to our established FaceTime resources, building a campaign to remind clients why events are great and should remain as part of their marketing mix. We will also be looking at explaining the benefits of virtual/ hybrid events, using digital content to engage with our customers 365, but with the understanding that this will be used to enhance the current offering – not replace it.
We want to see the return of the FaceTime masterclasses as and when it is safe to do so, but make these more cohesive with current issues that put exhibitor community might be facing, and recording content to make these more accessible to our international teams.
Who is it for?
This group is targeted at customer focused senior marketing, customer service, operations and sales professionals across the membership, but encourages the presence of Portfolio Directors and MD’s who have a particular interest in the customer journey.
