Montgomery Launches Two New Exhibition in East Africa

Montgomery Launches Two New Exhibition in East Africa

16 Feb 2016

Montgomery ECO East Africa are now the largest trade exhibition organisers in Kenya having launched two new exhibitions, Food&Drink East Africa and K-OSH. These two new additions brings the total number of events to six making Montgomery officially the largest in the region.

Food&Drink East Africa, launched this week, follows one of Montgomery's core sectors in which they run 18 events worldwide, the largest being IFE in London that attracts 1350 exhibitors and more than 29,000 visitors. The exhibition in Kenya will run from 23-25 May 2017 at the Dome in Nairobi and will bring together local and international suppliers from the food and beverage industry.

K-OSH is the only trade exhibition in Kenya that focuses solely on the occupational safety and health market. Stands will include footwear, helmets, warning signs, high visibility wear, masks as well as all protective clothing. The exhibition will co-locate with Securexpo East Africa, the market leading security exhibition in Kenya. This will leverage off the growing brand of Securexpo and also the crossover of visitors that will go to both shows.

In launching these two new exhibitions, Montgomery has shown that they see Kenya and East Africa as an area that offers a lot of potential. In speaking about their recent launches, Montgomery's Regional Director for East Africa said “Since we launched our first exhibition in Kenya in 2012, East Africa has been one of our key target growth markets. Africa offers a lot of challenges but there is so much growth that if you have the right experience in place then there is a huge amount of opportunity.â€'

Alongside these new launches, Montgomery currently runs Propak, Securexpo and Hostex East Africa, all individual market leading exhibitions in their respective fields. Within their Aidex portfolio, they currently run Aidex Africa, the only conference and exhibition for the aid and humanitarian development market in Africa.
