Money20/20, the worldÂ’s largest FinTech event, makes its mark in Europe with successful first edition in Copenhagen04 May 2016
Money20/20 Europe, held from 4 â€“ 7 April at the Bella Center, welcomed over 3,700 attendees from 75 countries. Â It also attracted more than 200 sponsors, 422 speakers and outstanding media coverage from, among others, CNBC, Financial Times, Bloomberg and The Guardian.
Money20/20 in the US is widely recognised as the world-class platform for the entire Payments and Financial Services innovation sector to connect, collaborate and innovate. Â The event was acquired by i2i Events Group in 2014, and a brand expansion into Europe was announced with a view to providing a new focus on the opportunities and challenges specific to Europe. Â With a strong and innovative financial sector, Copenhagen was deemed the right location to access the wider European market, at a time when the industry is experiencing an accelerated period of product development.
