    As our Conference Manager, you will be working across the IBTM portfolio, but with key responsibility to define, develop and deliver the education elements for our global, UAE and China events.  We are looking for a strategic, results-orientated and commercially driven conference producer who can also put together interactive knowledge experiences for the attendees at our events. 

    Job Purpose: Contribute to the success of the IBTM portfolio by creating, developing and implementing the conference strategy and delivery for all relevant events, providing improved value and learning for our customers.

    Team Structure: The role reports to the Head of Marketing and Buyer Programmes but works closely with each Event Manager as well as key stakeholders globally.

    Candidate Profile

    The Event Director (ED) will have credibility in brand & product management and a proven track record of customer-focused leadership in their given sector/s.  They will have a proven track record of sales management within a B2B environment.  He/she should be experienced in establishing strategic alliances and developing new lines of business and products. They will be skilled in reviewing, recommending and integrating innovations.  He/she will enjoy leading diverse teams of both direct and indirect reports demonstrating a strong authentic leadership style with an active focus on customer engagement. Critical to success will be a high level of emotional intelligence and organisational awareness to allow them to collaborate and leverage the expertise of colleagues across the company on innovative and strategic initiatives. Experience/knowledge of the drinks industry would be an advantage.
