The Quartz Group organise business-to-business (B2B) events and publish market-leading magazines and directories in six main sectors: - Glass - Primary Metals - Cleaning - Chemicals - Coatings - Commodities
The marketing manager will be responsible for managing and fulfilling the marketing of QBM products to attract the right quality and quantity of audiences through a range of online and offline marketing methods, as well as supporting the exhibition/publishing sales teams. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the marketing budget and strategy for event promotion and will ensure that appropriate registration processes are in place.
The marketing executive will be responsible for fulfilling the day to day promotion of specific events to attract the right quality and quantity of attendees through a range of online and offline marketing methods, as well as supporting the exhibition sales teams.
This sales person will be responsible for business development, exhibition stand sales and sponsorship sales for our international tobacco trade events. The applicant should have previous sales experience, have a good telephone and face-to-face manner, be able to build relationships and account manage existing clients, as well as developing new ones. The job will involve international travel and there will be busy times during the events when a hard-working attitude will be essential.
This portfolio of events is well established and successful, bringing in over £1.5m of revenue into the business each year. There is a bonus and commission scheme associated to this role and the applicant needs to be enthusiastic and pro-active about reaching achievable targets.
