Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Achieve Visitor Targets by owning and implementing the UK marketing plan for international shows. The overall visitor targets will be managed by the global team marketing lead.

  • Follow the brief provided by each show team (10-15 per year average), edit and negotiate where necessary
  • Implement plans
  • Own the budget for these plans and reconcile invoices for each campaign
  • Organise press conferences end-to-end, including choosing appropriate venue, budgeting, booking, inviting guests, liaising with Frankfurt, organising meals and dietary requirements, ensuring press materials are produced and at the venue, hosting the event
  • Organise UK journalist Press trips
  • Manage past visitor database
  • Oversee contra deals between UK partners and Frankfurt show teams
  • Distribute tickets to select association members and negotiate coverage

 

Assist sales targets in achieving Sales Targets through building and executing multi-channel exhibitor marketing plan for each show.

  • Work with Account Managers to create comprehensive plans for Exhibitor Marketing
  • Proof external communications such as mass emails and social media
  • Manage competitive show schedules, data builds and the implementation of marketing
  • Project manage the annual Trade Association Christmas Lunch.

 

Raise and Maintain profile of Messe Frankfurt UK within UK Events Industry and Messe Frankfurt Global.

  • Manage MFUK brand message across communication platforms including website, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
  • Liaising with UK Exhibition press and trade associations, including writing and sending press releases
  • Ensure the UK subsidiary is aligned with global standards and requirements

 

Track and monitor performance.

  • Review the performance of the campaigns and report back to the show teams and use analysis to shape future marketing campaigns and media spend.
     

Other Tasks.

  • Oversee data cleansing, analysis and reporting of competitive data
  • Block hotel booking for company trips to Frankfurt
  • All associated administration
  • Monitoring of incoming company communications, such as info email inbox and incoming calls
