Job Title:    Oracle Applications Technical Lead

Reports to:   Director of Engineering

Based at:   Richmond, UK

Role and responsibilities

  • lead small, agile-like, teams
  • produce artefacts for development teams, including technical designs and data models
  • convey architectural and technical information to a variety of audiences within IT and in the broader business
  • deal with solutions at the code level, and devote a portion of your time to hands-on coding
  • provide guidance to developers and other Technical Leads to help break down complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts, which are easier to develop and maintain
  • establish best practice within your workstream and actively drive its adoption
  • manage third party partners, where required, ensuring development and architecture standards are met
  • work as part of teams in both on and offshore environments
  • design and development of RX’s Oracle eBusiness Suite implementation


Your experience:

  • 2 years in a lead role for Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • technical and functional experience with R12 Financials “Record to Report” or “Procure to Pay” or “Order to Cash”
  • experience of R12 implementation, data conversions, open interfaces and TCA APIs
  • understanding of AP payment templates, payment processing and cheque printing
  • experience in SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Forms, OAF, Workflow Builder, AME and XML Publisher for customization and extensions development
  • solid grasp of software engineering concepts, standards, future trends, and associated technologies
