We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Marketing Manager to manage the marketing campaign for the Country Living Magazine Fairs and our Festive Fayres.
We are looking for a strategic thinker, creative with content and someone who has the ability to plan and deliver first-class multi-channel marketing campaigns. You’ll have strong experience within a senior marketing role and will preferably have working knowledge of exhibitions or events. We would like someone who is extremely organised and able to perform well under pressure. Knowledge and experience of delivering content rich campaigns across multiple marketing channels is fundamental and proven success within digital marketing is essential. You will have an analytical approach and be target driven.
This role requires you to work alongside our Central Marketing Team to plan the data and digital strategies for your events.
As the Marketing Manager, you will:
- In collaboration with Portfolio Head of Marketing, manage a marketing strategy and detailed marketing plans with a compelling visitor proposition
- Manage detailed event marketing budgets and campaign trackers, making informed, evidence-based decisions on spend
- Deliver visitor revenue and numbers targets on each event
- Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns including print and online advertising, direct mail, email, sales promotions and partnerships, social media and PR campaigns
- Implement cohort and content strategy for each event
- Manage brand and campaign identity and messaging around content, ensuring all are delivered with appropriate tone of voice
- Ensure ongoing measurement, evaluation and adjustment of campaign and website performance utilising GA, sales reports and ERM tools, as well as visitor surveys to fully understand our visitor behaviours
- Develop briefs and manage appointment and effective management of external agencies and suppliers including; creative, box office, print and media buying and PR
- Manage the creation and production of impactful marketing materials with well written and accurate copy
- Ensure all event website are kept fully up to date, are accurate and effectively presented and the UX is fully optimised
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with media partners, trade associations and other relevant professional organisations
- Oversee the acquisition of new data and development of existing visitor databases
- Update and share weekly visitor reports on all live campaigns
- Produce post-show reports, analysing the effectiveness of the campaigns, gaining further insight into the events and make informed recommendations for their strategic development
- Plan and implement exhibitor sales and marketing campaigns in liaison with Sales Team
- Produce sponsorship material to support the sponsorship and sales team and provide creative input into potential sponsorship agreements
- Network within the industry to gain contacts, build industry knowledge and understand how we maintain a competitive edge in attracting audiences across each event
