The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing portfolio of payments and ticketing technology events (PayExpo and Transport Ticketing Global).  We are looking for a motivated, organized and ambitious candidate who wants to develop their career in event marketing.

The role will involve working on all aspects of the marketing campaigns including data management, copy writing, website updates, media partner management, social media management, and source tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining event websites including exhibitor logos and profiles, agenda updates and speaker information and proof reading
  • Media partner and association relationships – managing their and our delivery (as per agreements) as well as researching and proposing new partners to approach
  • Email campaign creation and initiation and tracking results
  • Implementing social media campaigns across all platforms and making recommendations
  • Support marketing manager in fulfilling exhibitor and sponsor deliverables
  • Coordinating and managing the marketing activity schedules across all channels
  • Writing and building email campaigns in Pardot
  • Track and report on web traffic as well as email marketing performance throughout event campaigns
  • Onsite event support including managing filming, photography and social media and sourcing testimonials from visitors and exhibitors
  • To undertake activities associated with implementation of event Apps

Skills & Knowledge and Behaviours:

  • Highly organised and flexible
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - articulate and naturally persuasive
  • Exemplary verbal and written English - ability to proofread and write copy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Exhibits a “can-do” attitude – is ‘hungry’ to learn and develop
  • Computer literate – competence in Microsoft Office essential; previous experience with website/email platforms desirable or a proven ability to learn new programmes quickly
  • Numerate
  • Understanding of social media platforms
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commercially minded and motivated to succeed
  • Experience using
    - Marketing automation tools (Pardot or similar)
    - CMS tools
    - Google Analytics
