Montgomery Group are looking for an Event Operations Executive to take an active role in the operational running of a number of events in the departments’ portfolio and provide an operational support service to exhibitors and internal show teams as required and specified by the Head of Operations / Manager. To undertake set projects that must be managed to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, achievement of deadlines and strict budget control.
A successful candidate will ideally have experience working on events. The role requires customer service experience focus, great organisational skills with a ‘can do’ attitude, we look forward to hearing from you.

THE POSITION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and control costs to given budgets.

PO’s are entered accurately and double checked.

Work is completed to given deadlines.

Operational Planners are kept updated to ensure targets for progression throughout show cycle is demonstrated accurately.

Provide Exhibitors, Contractors and Sub Contractors with the most up to date information.

Answer queries from exhibitors, contractors, show teams and outside organisations.

Liaise with the venue as required and specified by the Exhibition Director / Manager.

In conjunction with the Head Of Operations / Manager assist in the selection of certain official contractors.

Carry out research on new suppliers as required / requested.

Ensure show folders are kept up to date with all relevant information including exhibitor and contractor correspondence, quotes, visuals, venue information etc.

In conjunction with the Operations Assistant ensure master exhibitor list is kept up to date at all times.

Proofing documents such as the Exhibitors Manual as required.

Write Exhibitor Update and other exhibitor communication

Manage the updating and production of floorplans to suit a variety of purposes.

Run the Organisers Office, brief and manage other office staff as required.

In conjunction with the Head Of Operations / Manager oversee and run on-site features.
