The Opportunity:
We are looking for a high-performing Spanish speaking Delegate Sales executive to work on three established products in South America. Delegate sales are an integral part of our Americas series of events and allow us to ensure the right people are “in the room”. The portfolio of events includes the region’s leading upstream event.
The successful candidate is expected to develop relationships with key individuals and senior stakeholders within the industry as well as within Clarion as you will work closely with marketing and production.

The Candidate:
Proven ability to foster collaborations across diverse group of companies and geographically within the sector. Make high volume outgoing calls to achieve revenue targets across new business and long-standing client base. In addition, demonstrate strong sales skills and a track record for achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling over the phone to existing and potential new clients to meet realistic sales revenue targets.
  • Creating, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients through a consultative sales approach and by clearly demonstrating the value of attending events in the Clarion Oil & Gas Division.
  • Keeping abreast of market developments and identifying and researching new growth areas for sales.
  • Up-sell to existing delegates and referrals
  • Feedback contacts into database (salesforce)
  • Up-sell additional delegate places to sponsors and exhibitors
  • Attract new business revenues where required
  • Ensuring that all relevant information is available and accurate for pipeline and project meetings.
  • At all times representing Clarion Oil & Gas Division in a professional manner.
  • Attending industry and VIP functions when required.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Oil and Gas/Energy/ Finance knowledge preferable
  • Use of working with Salesforce and Pardot Preferable
  • First class English skills (written and oral)
  • Spanish essential (written and oral) 
  • Have sold delegate spaces previously/media sales
  • Worked in high volume media/event sales
  • Evidence of achieving/over achieving targets
  • A good understanding of the full sales cycle process
  • Ability to generate business leads through primary and secondary research.
  • Ability to priorities leads and maximise revenue generation
  • Build client relationships in the short and long term
  • Commercially minded with an ability to spot an opportunity
  • Accurately recording sales on the Salesforce system
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce system
