The Role:

Working with key accounts and other stakeholders to provide high level customer service and support the Operations Manager to deliver successful events. The candidate will have previous experience in customer service and have a high level of initiative and the ability to communicate with all levels of customers to a high standard.


  • Main point of contact for any customer queries and an ambassador for our events, consistently delivering excellent customer service, going above and beyond
  • Responsible for developing and enhancing our customer service offerings alongside updating the International team with new initiatives
  • Organize and execute all event delegate programs/offerings including registration implementation, data co-ordination and communication management
  • Providing help, support and information to our customers for our services using various platforms and computer software programs
  • Manage event queries inboxes and portals - communicate courteously via phone, email, letter and face to face
  • Investigate and solve customers’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing, develop feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use
  • Support Operations Manager with SpEx delivery including registration, bag inserts and sponsorship orders
  • Create FAQ documents internally and externally to build knowledge around the events and support all stakeholders
  • Develop knowledge and understand local area in which events are held, proactively seeking out the key accounts via phone calls and offering any assistance,
    such as booking restaurants for clients
  • Perform administrative tasks such as VISA invitation letters, updating starter packs, ordering stationary, managing shipping, preparing onsite materials, collecting and
    distributing post, booking couriers and general ad hoc tasks
  • Assist with a delivery of a range of onsite extra events and additional project as and when required such as venue research, organizing special events, booking team
    dinners and coordinating networking events
  • Assist operations team by booking hotel and travel for staff and speakers
  • Manage, deliver and update all networking apps/programs
  • Approve delegate and SpEx during the registration process where applicable
  • Post show evaluation, analysis of VIPs, processes and customer service - write reports analyzing the customer service we provide and ways to enhance
  • Create relevant surveys for customers, exhibitors and speakers where applicable
  • Assist with collection of publishing materials for event guides and magazines
  • Support Head of Operations with ad-hoc tasks and projects
