Launch conference smashes forecasts!

A new conference for event logistics specialists is well ahead of expectations, one month before opening its doors.
Event Logistics Live (ELL) was expected to launch at London’s ExCeL with 100 global attendees, however delegate numbers currently stand at 146 from an astonishing 37 countries around the world!

ELL is being organised by tfconnect, organisers of the international organiser CEO event, the Global Event Summit. Tfconnect MD, Trevor Foley said, “I was approached by senior players in the event logistics sector just two months ago and asked to create a similar event to the Summit. The downside was a need to do so from scratch in just three months – no name, no website, no nothing! However, the event has clearly captured a gap in the market."

Phil Powell, MD of event sponsors CEVA Showfreight, commented, “We want to expand our global agents network to keep pace with the globalisation of the events industry. This event not only gives us the chance to meet with companies we rarely see but there are also companies attending that I don’t know... and I’ve been in the industry for – years.”

London’s ExCeL have responded to the growth in the event by providing a larger space, their Platinum Suite, to accommodate the swelling delegate registrations. With four weeks to go the event is on course to get much larger yet!
