Tarsus ranked sixth leading US trade show organiser
Tarsus Group, the international media company, has been ranked in sixth place by number of shows and market share on the Trade Show News Network (TSNN)’s list of the top 250 US trade shows. Tarsus has three shows on the list – Labelexpo Americas, Off-Price Specialist Show (Aug) and Off-Price Specialist Show (Feb), representing 1.2% of the market. Both Off-Price shows experienced double-digit growth last year.
The list represents the top 250 trade shows held in 2010, ranked by net space in the United States. It is compiled from data supplied by show organizers.
Labelexpo Americas was launched in 1989 and is the largest show in the US for the label printing and converting industry. At the 2010 edition in Chicago, it attracted an overall attendance of 12,761. It is ranked 143 on TSNN’s Top 250 list.
The Offprice Specialist Show has been organized in Las Vegas by Tarsus since 1999 for the off-price (below wholesale) clothing and accessories market. The TSNN Top 250 ranks the February and August editions 199 and 192 respectively.
