Diversified Business Communications builds reputation in India
Portland, Maine U.S. – Diversified Business Communications announced the successful production of its PALM and Cinema India Expo that took place June 3-5, at the Bombay Convention Center in Mumbai, India. “The success of PALM and Cinema India Expo mark our ability to bring our strategies and expertise to India” commented Nancy Hasselback, President and CEO of Diversified Business Communications, the parent company of Diversified Communications India and Createasphere.
Within six months of forming Diversified Communications India and acquiring the PALM and Cinema India Expo, Diversified substantially grew these global events. The Expo attracted over 11,500 visitors, including decision makers, creative team members and working entertainment industry professionals from the creative and technical communities around the world. Closing figures show attendance grew by 35% and space sales increased over 50%.
“The global participation is growing at an exponential rate,” noted Anil Chopra, Managing Director of Diversified Communications India. “This is due in large part to the long-standing reputation of PALM and the Cinema India Expo, the increasing value of the Indian marketplace and Diversified’s expertise building major international events and forming strategic partnerships across the organization.”
“Synergies between Cinema India and Diversified’s Createasphere events, provided immediate growth opportunities” explained Kristin Kennedy, President of Createasphere. “As expert event producers for the entertainment technology industry in the US, we partnered with Cinema India to provide International sales and the programming.”
PALM and Cinema India Expo 2010 provided easy access to both the audio and visual aspects of the entertainment technology industry and the strategic co-locations of Musician Expo and Info Communica, brought the technologies and advanced information specific to the music and communications business sectors. Exhibition plans are underway for the 2011 PALM and Cinema India Expo. Dates will be released by Diversified Communications India and partner, Createasphere.
