TV stars to headline Event Production Show’s Live at the Grand
The Event Production Show, the first major event trade show of 2012, has announced its line-up for Live at the Grand.
Taking place from Wednesday 1st February to Thursday 2nd February, and running alongside the inaugural UK Venue Show, the Event Production Show will showcase the best of the UK’s events industry from production to ticketing and marketing to security. Live at the Grand is the exhibition’s showcase of hirable entertainment acts available to the events industry.
Live at the Grand will see several Sky TV favourites take to the stage. Performing will be singer / songwriter Kyan Kuatois, finalist of Sky’s ‘Must Be The Music’ programme on which he was lauded by judges Dizzee Rascal and Jamie Cullen. Kyan will be joined by enchanting all-female street dance group Boadicea, stars of Sky 1’s ‘Got To Dance’, where all three judges gave them a standing ovation. The satellite stars will be completed by ‘Got To Dance’ sensations Alleviate, the breath-taking contemporary dance duo whose emotive performances captured the hearts of thousands of fans on their way to the final.
Other artists entertaining visitors to Europe’s pre-eminent live events showcase include comedy hip-hop dancers Twist and Pulse of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ fame, French circus arts performer Alice Allart, Raven, who supported Ellie Goulding in her recent Hammersmith Apollo gigs and The Beeshees, a female Bee Gees tribute who have worked alongside the likes of Eric Clapton, Nicole Sherzinger and Cee Lo Green.
Meanwhile, Tenors Unlimited will present 'An evening with The Rat Pack of Opera’ ahead of their world tour, sophisticated dinner jazz duo Jaz2 will demonstrate their versatility to engage both corporate and private audiences, and the Revelation Singers, part of the Revelation Choir on BBC’s Last Choir Standing, will display their inimitable vocal talents. Acoustic performer Greg Morton will show how he engaged capacity crowds at the Reebok and McAlpine stadiums and Joe Corrigan, will be performing songs from The Great British Songbook, aimed at Olympic themed events and Diamond Jubilee Dinners.
