New additions to the office* conference line-up, which includes 32 seminars and master classes, is an extra session hosted by Susie Barron-Stubley, founder of Castalia Coaching & Training in office* Theatre 2. ‘Developing your emotional intelligence for success in a business environment’, taking place at 3pm on both days of the show, will discuss how the growth of Emotional Intelligence, through self-awareness, emotion management, self motivation, relationship management, and emotion coaching, is essential for individuals who want to increase their effectiveness and success in business.

Ensuring it’s far from all work and no play at this year’s office*, exhibitor MWB Business Exchange will be adding their own brand of ‘office’ humour to the proceedings, with a David Brent–inspired dance routine at 10.00am in the show’s Uni Mitsubishi Café. David Brent, a fictional character in the BBC’s award-winning sitcom The Office, will be played by a Ricky Gervais impersonator and appear alongside 15 dancers. Following the performance office* attendees will be give the opportunity to participate in a competition to win £500 worth of Apple vouchers by giving their own ‘interpretation’ of Brent’s excruciating, yet highly-memorable, dance.
