Selling the Show
Exhibition sales provides a rewarding career, utilising client liaison skills in a variety of challenging situations, and offering a real sense of achievement when targets are met and your project comes together.  Sales professionals are the dynamic hub of an exhibition company, they are the chief contributors to revenue through stand sales, sponsorship, and other non-ticket revenue. 

 

The sales function includes:

  • researching markets specific to a show and its’ industry sector
  • identifying potential exhibitors and sponsors within that market
  • selling the concept of the show to these companies

The skills, experience and attributes required by exhibition sales personnel are:

  • determination, tenacity, resilience and assertiveness
  • the ability to communicate at all levels
